　　Life is wonderful, but it is also challenging at times.
　　Bill Gates is one of the most successful businessman in history. He recently gave the following advice to a group of students about 11 things they may not learn in school. He talked about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a full generation of kids with no concept of reality. This concept will set them up for failure in the real world.
　　We want all of you to be very successful, so consider some of his words:
　　Rule 1.人生并不公平─你要适应它。
　　Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
　　Rule 2.这个世界并不在乎你的自尊，你想要对自己感到满意，就得先成就些什么事。
　　Rule 2:The world won’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
　　Rule 3.你不可能离开学校就可以有四万美元的年薪，也不可能成为配有汽车电话的副总裁，你得自己去赚才有。
　　Rule 3:You will NOT make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school. You won’t be a vice-president with a car phone, until you earn both.
　　Rule 4.如果你认为你的老师很苛刻，等你有了老板你就知道了。
　　Rule 4:If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss. He doesn’t have tenure.

　　Rule 5:Flipping burger is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping they called it opportunity.

　　Rule 6:If you mess up, it’s not your parents’ fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

　　Rule 7:Before you were born, your parents weren’t as boring as they now are. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you are. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parents’ generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
　　Rule 8.你的学校可能已经飞出优等生和劣等生的分法，但人生并沒有。在某些学校里，他们已经废除了所谓不及格的分数，只要你想找到对的答案，他们就会給你无数的机会，但这跟现实世界里的情况可是一点都不像。
　　Rule 8:Your school may have done away with winners and losers but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades and they’ll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
　　Rule 9.生命并不是以血气来划分的。你不会有暑假，更不会有老板有兴趣帮助你发现自我，你得自己找时间做。
　　Rule 9 ife is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time.
　　Rule 10.电视并非真实的人生。在真实的世界里，人们得离开咖啡厅去工作。
　　Rule 10:Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
